The individual who shot at the White House on Saturday, wounding one person before he himself was shot dead by agents of the Secret Service, has been confirmed to be Nasire Best. According to the legal papers, there is evidence of his mental problems and even arrest; in June 2025, Best blocked access to the White House while identifying himself as Jesus Christ and was referred for a psychiatric evaluation. Although he was arrested a second time for breaking in illegally and still had a warrant out for his arrest after failing to attend court hearings, Best came back again to shoot at security personnel. Luckily, at the time of the assault, President Trump was in the White House, and thus nothing happened to him.
